We spent some time chatting with David Dumas, a 32-year-old freelancer whose motivation has steadily increased since he’s switched to freelancing. Yet, beyond a lifestyle that allows him the constant improvement based on an adventurous spirit David has been able to work on some of the most innovative projects today in the blockchain space. After operating alongside freelancers in the 5 years after he graduated in engineering, he appreciated their vitality and efficiency. This inspired him to take the plunge a little over two years ago, boosted by both the confidence and expertise he’d acquired. Today,  David is able to concentrate on doing what he does best and get the variety that stimulates him while working with some of the best in the business. Experience:

“What pleases me about my freelance life having greater autonomy in my work. I’ve always been fairly efficient, but being able to vary the assignments allows me to enrich my experience and refine my methods, even further. I like to stay at the top of my game and sharing of ideas and skills among freelancers is motivating and refreshing.  I have a very good level in English and a list of very diverse professional experiences. This allows me to work both in French or American companies, and on projects of very different sizes. These qualities among others contribute to my unique individual brand.  Freelance is for me at this time of my life.  I still want to free up some time to really contribute to open-source projects.”
